Ridicully - verbal voyeur extraordinaire

Alive but very busy. And not good at writing essays.

Just came back from the IELT(S).
We'll see how I actually did in two weeks, but going by my feelings the reading and listening part should not be too bad, especially considering I finished the reading part in half of the provided time. Speaking might just be acceptable as well, if the examiner did ignore my stuttering. The thing that most likely will break my neck is the writing part. I know it's hard to imagine, but I haven't had to write an essay since eighth or ninth grade. If they mark for coherency at all, I'm screwed.
But all in all it was a lot easier than I though, which, given the fact that I went there completely unprepared beyond looking up how long each part would take, is a bit scary.
Oh well, worst case, I have spent nearly 200€ to be told my English absolutely sucks. Since I did the test mostly for my own peace of mind - strangely enough it's not actually required to apply for a residency in the UK - that won't be nice but not the end of the world either.
